We're four young tennis and padel enthusiasts with a common vision: to make our favorite sports more sustainable and environmentally friendly. For years, we've shared the same frustration: tennis and padel balls, so essential to the game, quickly lose their quality and all too often end up in the garbage can. This over-consumption and the resulting pollution have always struck us as absurd and... frankly, disgusting. On the courts, between exchanges, we often talked about it without finding a satisfactory solution.
Then, in 2023, after completing our studies - two engineers and two sales people - we decided it was time to act. We pooled our skills to address this issue, and the idea for BUP - Ball Under Pressure - was born. BUP is our response to a twofold challenge: improving the player experience while reducing the environmental impact of balls. Thanks to an innovative solution, we can extend the life of balls and reduce waste. Our mission is simple: to offer a sustainable and ecological alternative, without compromising ball quality or the pleasure of the game.
Our project is based on our shared passion for sport, technology and
the environment. We firmly believe that respect for the planet can (and must) go hand in hand with performance and pleasure on the pitch.
